The Elephant Tree

The merry mice of the wood decorate their adorably gleeful friend with a borrowed string of lights and a sparkly tree topper.

The Elephant Tree is a piece that I created to use as my holiday card to send to friends and family. More so, it was a piece to have fun with for pure enjoyment.

The Inspiration for The Elephant Tree

The other event that sparked inspiration was my love for elephants. I was around ten years old when my family visited Circus World in Baraboo, Wisconsin, where elephant rides were offered for a nominal fee. There was room for about four children on the elephant’s back, but when it was my turn, they let me take the reins.
