Welcome to Life on Wildflower Lane
Life on Wildflower Lane, in the beauty of Wisconsin's Door County, began in the Fall of 2016. Artist Bonnie Leick and retired firefighter Doug O’Leary started their new life from the ground up in the middle of an old apple orchard. They built a cozy new home, added multiple vegetable and flower gardens, brought home a flock of adorable chickens, and completed it all with a few hives of very industrious honey bees.

About Bonnie
Bonnie Leick (pronounced: like) grew up in Wisconsin on a dairy farm where she chased calves, kittens, and butterflies. As an adult, she still does the same but now chases chickens, French Bulldogs, and dragonflies.

Many years ago, the world welcomed a fascinating new creature by the name of Douglas O’Leary.
